With Tosa, every student is certified at their unique skill level. Tosa certifications provide a score out of 1,000 points that corresponds to five levels of skill—Beginner, Basic, Productive, Advanced, and Expert—as well as a diploma or a certificate of completion, depending on the level achieved. Productive, Advanced, and Expert earners also receive a Credly badge upon completion.
Adaptive testing increases or decreases the difficulty depending on the candidate's right or wrong answers, pushing every test taker to the true limits of their skill and knowledge. In-application questions ensure your students can apply what they've learned in a real-world environment.
Easy-to-interpret pre- and post-course assessment reports identify students' current skills, skill gaps, and skill progression.
Using a Tosa blueprint, instructors integrate Tosa certifications into their existing content or curriculum and set defined outcomes.
Students begin with a formative, pre-course assessment to identify current skill levels. Instructors gather data and adjust lesson plans based on student results.
Instructors match courseware in the Isograd Learning Lab to students’ proficiency levels and intended course objectives.
Once courseware is completed, students take a summative assessment to verify their skills match the intended proficiency levels. If skill gaps still exist, instructors can assign additional course content.
When instructors are satisfied with student progress, certification exams are given. Certification exams are proctored and generally range from 60 to 90 minutes.
Tosa offers credential bundles designed to validate a learner's versatility and proficiency across high-demand software suites like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Cloud. These stackable credentials help individuals strengthen their career profiles while providing employers with a clear, consolidated view of multiple skills in a single certification. Exams can be taken in any order and typically require around 150 hours of training and experience per exam, depending on prior knowledge.
Earners receive digital badges via Credly, which can be shared on resumes and professional profiles to showcase their skills to employers in fields like marketing and communication, administration, sales, HR, finance, education, and customer service.

To qualify for a Tosa Certified User for Adobe Graphic Design certification, candidates must certify at the Advanced level (726+) in the Tosa for Adobe Photoshop exam, plus one of the Tosa for Adobe Illustrator or Tosa for Adobe InDesign exams.
This credential verifies a learner's versatility and expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
To qualify for a Tosa Certified User for Adobe Visual Design certification, candidates must certify at the Advanced level (726+) in the Tosa for Adobe Premiere Pro and in the Tosa for Adobe Photoshop exams.
