Tosa offers two convenient ways to take your certification exam:

  • In-Person at a Prometric Testing Center

    Isograd partners with Prometric to provide in-person testing at thousands of locations worldwide. To take an exam at a Prometric test center, locate a test center nearest you. On test day, plan to arrive 30 minutes early and bring a valid, government-issued photo ID. For specific test day procedures, conditions, and technical requirements, please visit the Prometric website.

  • Online via a Remote Proctor

    Take your exam from the comfort of your home or office at a time that works best for you. All you need is a computer with an internet connection and a working webcam and microphone. Yes. Tosa certifications are designed for all skill levels — there is no minimum score required to sit for the exam. The adaptive format adjusts question difficulty in real time based on each candidate’s responses, so the exam meets every learner where they are. Even candidates with limited experience will receive a meaningful score and level designation.

The free Tosa sample test is a great way to gauge your starting level before the certification exam.

Tosa issues two types of credential documents depending on the score achieved:

  • Diploma — awarded to candidates who reach the Productive level (551 or above) on most certifications, or the Basic level (351 or above) on foundational digital skills certifications. Confirmed proficiency-based certification. Candidates at the Productive, Advanced, or Expert level also receive a Credly digital badge.
  • Certificate of Completion — issued to all candidates who do not reach the diploma threshold. Confirms participation and documents the score achieved, regardless of level.
